Philippine Ducati Weekend 2014 Experience

Ducati Philippines roared the race tracks of our country once again! Last November 22nd to 23rd 2014, the finest league of motor cycle riders and enthusiasts gathered in Clark International Speedway for the Philippine Ducati Weekend 2014 (PDW2014).

Lucky me to be invited to witness this event by Ms. Cherry Burwell Bustamante of Big Difference Communications, I'm actually thrilled to have a first hand glimpse of whats's happening in an actual race.

Few hours after my work, I immediately went to the start point of the motorcade (which is just a block away from the building I'm working in :p ) and met my fellow bloggers who will also cover the event.

Jaw dropped when the Ducati riders arrived with their breath taking bikes! A buffet of the elite class motorbikes lined up in front of my eye! OH. MI. GAWD. I didn't even bother asking how much each one costs! These toys for the big boys are phenomenal!!

After my moment of adoration, the motorcade started and we all head off to Clark Pampanga. Since this little becky just got off from work and sat beside the driver and was sitting comfortably , boom. I dozed off :p. I woke up a few minutes before we hit our destination and saw a big sign of the event along the way. #BigTime #Shushal :)

Midday was almost nearing  when we arrived and met other media correspondents.

Sony Alpha locked in and ready to roll! had a quick scout around the area to saw what's in store for the guests and to my surprise, they have a big play pen for the kids aside from the rodeo ride! Motor owners had their bikes washed by 2 gorgeous ladies in their sexy outfits. Ducati merchandise were also sold in their tents plus some of their high class bikes were showcased. There's also a caricature, spa and henna booths! Well, I had my self inked there, Ducati style :p

It's a bird, it's a plane oh no! It's a stunning blue chopper approaching the race track! Media people.. assemble!!

Riding there were the big bosses of Ducati Philippines and the much anticipated arrival of  the Super Bike Champion Carlos Checa!

He immediately rode his motor and joined other bikers in the field when they landed. Now if I'm one of the riders, It could have been an "awesome moment" being in the same track with a champ!

I got goosebumps every time a motor will pass me by, that thunder sound in the race track made my heart pump additional blood. Totally fabulous!

Growing up with a brother who likes speed, I used to see posters of motors racing in our room. Shoot my core but this time, I got them in my hands and I took the photo. That was nirvana!

Aside from the raging bikes, I saw the humble riders and I was pretty amazed how good looking they are. oh ihm. yeah i mean auhm... yeah.. eerrrr...  how nice they are. :) they even smiled and accommodated photo ops with some of the guests.

Best one for me was when Mr. "Red Rider" took the hand of the son of my friend and had him ride the bike for a picture with him.

Afternoon was about to wrap up and I had a chance to get some snaps of the Carlos Checa and one of the youngest Pinoy pride ....

When I thought we already had the blast for the day, right after the press con, our night was filled with elegance with a fancy dinner in Fontana Pampanga and rave the rest of the eve in a pool shindig for a Ducati Scrambler party! Cool stuff to end the day! YYEEBBBAAHH!!

Overall, this event will be one of the memorable one for me as an event blogger. The feeling, the sound, the atmosphere filled high end motors around, the total experience... OUTSTANDING! Cheers to the organizers and everyone who are involved in making PDW2014 a success you all deserve a thousand kudos and will be looking forward for more fruitful and adrenaline rushing years for the Philippine Ducati Team!

(Thanks to Keish and Ronnie for taking these shots :) :)
