JEST Camp Amazing Race 2014

J.E.S.T. Camp also known as Jungle Environmental Survival Training launched its very first Amazing Adventure Race last March 29th 2014. 11 teams heed the call to compete and be the ultimate team survivor of this race!

Teams kicked off the race with their fist challenge, to dive into a pool and search for specific coins to complete the task. It was a bomb to the contestants as the coins are at the bottom of a 6 ft deep water which then, moved to the shallow part.

Task 2, to go to J.E.S.T. Camp with only a few peso to use to reach the destination. Teams displayed their tactics in finding a transportation and race themselves to the camp.

Easter egg hunting was came in early that day when each team needs to look for eggs that holds the next task. Some eggs had a physical challenge, the others had a mental challenge and the rest.. empty :p.

Road block came next where 3 or 5, raw or in bread are the only options. Edible creepy crawlers needs to be eaten to reward them selves with a sandwich or a fried chicken with rice meals. We'll, I took the first one and had a much! Eeeky but it's worth a try.

Aerial adventure, one of the highlights of the Camp, was ready for the team. They need to collect 3 assigned color paper scattered all over the the maze to get their next clue.

Knowledge about nature were tested when they need to answer another road block. Flare some bamboo was the last challenge. Part of the jungle survival education of J.E.S.T. Camp is to teach their guest how to make fire from bamboo "kusot".

Race was concluded and 2 ladies dominated the race! followed by a couple of guys and a male and female tandem!

Congratulations to J.E.S.T. Camp and Adventure for the success of this game! looking forward to next years Amazing race!
